And the new year is here =)
The first meeting of the spring semester is going to be on Friday, January 25th, at 6:00 in HPC 2255. I suppose we'll be voting on the series for the semester there, since nominations at the end of fall happened to include just about everything. Meetings after that will fall into the normal every-other-week pattern, with the next one at the same time on February 8th.
And that's our very rough plan for the spring. Have a great semester ^_^

Hajimemashite and konnichiwa. Welcome to the website of The Anime Club at the University of Texas at Tyler. We are a group of students and staff who are interested in sharing Japanese animation (anime) with others at the university who might enjoy it as well. We regularly hold meetings in which we showcase selected anime series and organize anime-related activities for the semester. Our first meeting of the fall semester is scheduled for Friday, January 25th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in HPC 2255. We will be showing four episodes of whatever everyone happens to vote on there. The meeting is potluck, so bringing some manner of food or drink would be greatly appreciated (although by no means is it required). Of course, if you can't wait that long to talk with some of us, then feel free to head on over to the message board. Just follow the little tab on the left.
Please note: We are currently looking for suggestions about additional activities which might interest club members. Please let us know if you have an idea about an event or activity that might be fun for the group. We can also proudly announce that manga is now available through the university library, and we're looking on adding more this semester. As usual, any feedback on this project idea would be appreciated as well ^_^
